The Perfect Flower Costume

This flower costume was the perfect little costume for our baby girl’s first Halloween! She was over seven months at that point and was ready to go around the neighborhood in a trick or treating adventure with her older brother in the double stroller.

My wife as usual had shopped for over a month before Halloween arrived before finding the Super Deluxe Baby Blossom Costume. She bought it in size 12 to 18 months and while it came in a bit large for our daughter, it was perfect for adding appropriate insulation clothes underneath the costume for the chilly Halloween evening.

The costume comes with the zippered fuzzy green body suit with snap leg closures for diaper changes, the indoor only yellow booties and of course the flower petal hood with a little bumble bee accent. It comes available for babies 6 to 12 months and for toddlers 12 to 18 months.

At seven months she really didn’t understand the concept of dressing up but allowed us to have fun with the costume anyway. She stood quiet as we dressed her and stayed quiet during the stroll ride around the neighborhood next to her brother. As I strolled them around and followed our eldest girl as she trick or treated with her friends, I looked into the front of the stroller and noticed that our little flower had fallen asleep! She was so cute, and we got so many compliments on how cute the costume was on her.

When she got back home she was wide awake and playing, right before bedtime. We used the costume a few times as she got older for dress-up time. I now see why my wife bought the bigger one as she is still able to fit into the flower costume now that she knows what it is and smiles every time she puts it on.
