Dinosaur Birthday Party

This Dinosaur Birthday Party was my wife's creation. She is super talented at putting together birthday party themes, and on our son’s third birthday, she planned a terrific Dinosaur Party.

Our boy had been big into dinosaurs since he was about 2, and I got him a super cool remote controlled dinosaur for Christmas, but my wife topped me on even that great gift by throwing him this dinosaur themed party! She went crazy with all the fun stuff, getting a few items like the stuffed dinosaurs and puzzles from Amazon.com, but mostly she used birthdayexpress.com for all of the paper plates and other party supplies.

The end result was this amazing dinosaur birthday party setup you see on the pictures. She ordered the Dinosaurs party supplies set, the 26” T-Rex Pinata, the Dinosaur egg cups with straw (this one was not really worth it), the Dinosaurs party favor box, the dinosaurs stickers, and the Dinosaur personalized birthday banner. She also ordered the inflatable balloons and disposable helium tank she used from the previous birthday party. She did tease me a little and placed the remote controlled dinosaur as the center piece on the table.

She highlighted the party with some items from Amazon that included the T-Rex dinosaur hat and the big plush Melissa & Doug T-Rex.

Unlike many of the Dinosaur Party themes online, birthdayexpress had the really tough looking dinosaurs on their artwork. We really liked that, it wasn’t wimpy and gave the party a bit of an edge. The party favor box was my favorite because you don’t see boxes too often, it came with temporary dinosaur tattoos, binoculars, dinosaur nose, stickers, a glow stick and hard candy (we used the hard candy to fill the pinata along with other goodies).

Most importantly, the kids went nuts over the party decorations! And our boy was frozen in amazement for a while, then started going through every party favor on the table and around him. We kept the dinosaur party setup for several days including two parties. It was just so much fun for everyone. This one is going to be tough to match, but I’m sure my wife is going to come up with some amazing themes for our next celebration!
