Though we did get the package in November and our girl will outgrow the costume before next Halloween, we do spend lots of time during the late Fall and Winter season playing costume dress-up with our children as one of our fun indoor activities when it’s too cold to play outside. We normally gather our old Halloween costumes, get some food together, play silly music and have fun, and the addition of this great toddlers' witch costume as well as the really fun bumblebee costume made our dress-up parties that much more fun!
The purple color was really cute and the whole outfit was a one piece polyester jump suit with purple frills as a skirt and shoulder pads. We didn’t get the included hat, but my wife took one of the witch hats she uses as part of her Halloween party displays to accent the costume. As you can see, our little girl was getting fed up with playtime and didn’t want to wear the hat, so dress-up party was over and it was time to watch her favorite video, Nighttime with Iggy and friends!
There are many toddler and baby witch costumes available at great prices online, and as our daughter grows up we may consider one of the child witch costumes, which seem to be sold at similar prices and come with extra accessories like toy bats and flying brooms. In the meantime, we’ll dress her up in her witch costume first during the next dress-up party so she does not get so grumpy in it!
